One hundred and three years ago, there were two sisters in the U. S. A They loved children very much and wrote many songs for children. One of them was the well-known “Good morning” to you! It was very popular at the that time among kindergarten children, but not many grown- up (大人) knew it.
A few years later on their nephew Archibald's birthday party, the two sisters sang the song Happy Birthday to the melody (曲調(diào)) of “Good morning to you ”to their nephew.

The summer vacation is over. It's true that time always flies fast. During the vacation, the weather was hot and I could not do much work, but I lived happily.
As the afternoon was hot, I did my work in the morning. I used to (過去常常) get up at 6∶30 and take a walk in the garden for half an hour.
