Throughout the lesson
·Do not enter the science lab without the teacher’s permission.·No food or drinks are to be alowed in the science lab.
Before the Experiment
·Read al instructions carefuly before every experiment.
·Prepare al apparatus（儀器）and arrange them so that you wil not knock them over while doing the experiment.
During the Experiment
·If you are unsure of how to use any apparatus or how to operate, ask your teacher for help.·Never smel or taste chemicals unless your teacher gives permission.
After the Experiment
·Wash al apparatus after use and return them to the places where they were.
·Throw waste materials in proper waste baskets. First Aid
·Report al accidents to your teacher immediately.
·If you spil（ 濺 出 ）any chemicals onto your body or clothing, wash with plenty of water and report to your teacher.

Plants are very important living things. Life could not go on if there were no plants. This is because plants can make food from air, water and sunlight. Animals and man cannot make food from air, water and sunlight. Animals get their food by eating plants and other animals. Therefore animals and man need plants in order to live. This is why we find that there are so many plants around us.
If you look carefully at the plants around you, you will find that there are two kinds of plants: flowering plants and non-flowering(不開(kāi)花的) plants.
Flowering plants can make seeds(種子). The seeds are protected by the fruits. Some fruits have one seed, some have two, three or four, and some have many seeds. But a few fruits have no seeds at all. An example of a fruit without seeds is the banana fruit.
Most non-flowering plants do not grow from seeds. They grow from spores(孢子). Spores are very, very small. Some spores are so small and light that they can float in the air. We may say that spores are quite the same as seeds. When these spores fall on wet and shady(陰涼的) places, they usually grow into new plants.

China launched its first space lab module Tiangong-1 on the evening of September 29, 2011, at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwestern China.
President Hu Jintao praised the successful launch of China's first space lab module Tiangong-1, and shook hands with the staff of the Beijing Aerospace Flight Control Center.

During its two-year service life, Tiangong-1 will mainly conduct four tasks, such as experiments of autonomous rendezvous(自主交會(huì)) and docking procedures(程序) with the Shenzhou-8, -9, and -10 spacecrafts in the coming launches, aiming to establish the country's first space lab, according to Wu Ping, spokesperson for China's national space administration.
According to the plan for China's manned space program, the Shenzhou-10 will be a manned spacecraft, possibly carrying a female Chinese astronaut who will test manual space rendezvous and docking with the Tiangong-1.
Functioning as a target spacecraft, Tiangong-1 is expected to become China's first space laboratory when it connects to the above mentioned spaceships.
