-Maybe.    2.

-Would you like to try this one on?

-We sell it at $195.

  3.     And I’d like that blue sweater on the right, too. How much is it?

-We charge it for $260.    4.

-But that’s too expensive, I’m afraid.

-How about this one? It’s much cheaper.

-No, thanks.    5.     OK, here is $200.

-Thanks, and here is your change. Welcome to be here often.

-OK. See you.

A.You have good eyesight

C.I don’t like it. Its style looks out of date on me.

D.You’ve got excellent taste.

E. OK, I’ll take it.

F. It’s a real bargain(便宜貨).

G. But a little larger one seems better.

【答案】

1.D

2.G

3.E

4.F

5.C

【解析】

試題分析:

1.D 根據下句It must be very nice on you可知是在贊揚對方的眼光好,品味高。故D項符合上下文。

2.G 根據下句Would you like to try this one on?說明原來這件有點不太合適,所以才要試穿另外一件。故G正確。

3.E 根據下一句And I’d like that blue sweater on the right, too.可知已經決定買這件了,接下來是看另外一件。故E正確。

4.F 根據前后句We charge it for $260.    5.    -But that’s too expensive, I’m afraid.可知售貨員說這件很便宜,但是顧客不認同。故F項正確。

6.C 根據前句的No, thanks說明是拒絕,C項給出拒絕的原因。

 (10·湖南B篇)

When Mary Moore began her high school in 1951, her mother told her, "Be sure and take a typing course so when this show business thing doesn't work out, you'll have something to rely on." Mary responded in typical teenage fashion. From that moment on, "the very last thing I ever thought about doing was taking a typing course," she recalls.

The show business thing worked out, of course. In her career, Mary won many awards. Only recently, when she began to write Growing Up Again, did she regret ignoring her morn," I don't know how to use a computer," she admits.

Unlike her 1995 autobiography, After All, her second book is less about life as an award-winning actress and more about living with diabetes (糖尿病). All the money from the book is intended for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), an organization she serves as international chairman. "I felt there was a need for a book like this," she says." I didn't want to lecture, but I wanted other diabetics to know that things get better when we're self-controlled and do our part in managing the disease."

But she hasn't always practiced what she teaches. In her book, she describes that awful day, almost 40 years ago, when she received two pieces of life-changing news. First, she had lost the baby she was carrying, and second, tests showed that she had diabetes. In a childlike act, she left the hospital and treated herself to a box of doughnuts (甜甜圈). Years would pass before she realized she had to grow u p ---again---and take control of her diabetes, not let it control her. Only then did she kick her three-pack-a-day cigarette habit, overcome her addiction to alcohol, and begin to follow a balanced diet.

Although her disease has affected her eyesight and forced her to the sidelines of the dance floor, she refuses to fall into self-pity. "Everybody on earth can ask, 'why me?' about something or other," she insists. "It doesn't do any good. No one is immune (免疫的) to heartache, pain, and disappointments. Sometimes we can make things better by helping others. I've come to realize the importance of that as I've grown up this second time. I want to speak out and be as helpful as I can be."

61. Why did Mary feel regretful?

    A. She didn't achieve her ambition.

    B. She didn't take care of her mother.

C. She didn't complete her high school.

D. She didn't follow her mother's advice.

62, We can know that before 1995 Mary

    A. had two books published

B. received many career awards

C. knew how to use a computer

D. supported the JDRF by writing

 63. Mary's second book Growing Up Again is mainly about her         .

A. living with diabetes

    B. successful show business

C. service for an organization

D. remembrance of her mother

64. When Mary received the life-changing news, she         .

     A. lost control of herself                          B. began a balanced diet

C. Med to get a treatment                          D. behaved in an adult way

65. What can we know from the last paragraph?

     A. Mary feels pity for herself.

     B. Mary has recovered from her disease.

     C. Mary wants to help others as much as possible.

D. Mary determines to go back to the dance floor.

2010 was a good year for American farmers. They earned about eighty-two billion dollars. That is almost one-third more than that they earned last year. And it is twenty-six percent higher than the ten-year average. Values for grain and oilseed crops are up about three percent from last year. The value of animal production is up by almost seven percent.
In 2011, farm exports are expected to break the all-time high set in 2008.The Agriculture Department says exports in 2011 could top one hundred and twenty-six billion dollars. The largest buyer of agricultural products is expected to be Canada. But farm exports to China are predicted to come within five hundred million dollars of Canadian purchases. Secretary Vilsack says countries in Southeast Asia and the Middle East are also buying more from American farmers.
Poor growing conditions overseas played an important part in higher prices for American crops in 2010.Charlotte Hebe brand is chief executive of the International Food and Agricultural Trade Policy Council in Washington. She said drought(干旱)conditions had a big effect over the summer. She said,“There were horrible weather problems, not just in Russia but also in some of the other former Soviet Union countries.”
Wheat prices rose after Russia stopped wheat exports, although Russia later eased the ban(禁令).“Wheat used to be America’s top crop. What’s interesting, though,is that wheat production has actually become less over the past few years because corn has become the most popular crop,”said economist Charlotte Hebebrand.
Corn is mostly fed to animals. But Miss Hebebrand said with the recent increase in wheat prices, American farmers might plant more wheat again. Corn and wheat are the two largest crops supported by the government.

第一節 閱讀下列短文,從每題所給的四個選項(A、B、C和D)中,選出最佳選項。(共20小題;每小題2分,滿分40分)
A
I knew something was wrong when I woke up on April 7th, 2008. My morn was cooking eggs. She never cooked eggs on a school morning. I dragged myself out of bed to see what terrible thing had happened. "Nothing's wrong; I just feel like cooking," was the lie I was told.
I got on the school bus just in time to realize that Melissa wasn't there. When I got to school and found out that Melissa still wasn't there, I pretended to be sick so I could go home and call her. When I called, I was surprised at how weak her voice sounded. Toward the end of the conversation, she went into a series of coughing fits and hung up the phone. Later that night I got the call that changed my life forever. Melissa had terminal (晚期的) cancer and was given a year to live.
Melissa started chemotherapy (化療) and soon lost her hair. Lots of kids made fun of her, but I stuck by her. Melissa's cancer deteriorated. The doctors said she could go anytime. She was then given one wish. Her wish was to go to the park with me. The doctors wouldn't let us go alone, so her mother agreed to stay in her car down the street.
On April 3rd, 2009, we set off for the park. We went on the swings first and I gently pushed her. After a few minutes, she said with great difficulty, "You walked in when the rest of the world walked out... You're my best friend and I love you." "I know," I said as I hugged her. Her breathing slowed until it faded, and she was gone.
I attended the funeral against my will. As I said goodbye to my dear friend for the final time, I repeated those words she had said to me, "I love you." As I said those words, I knew that she felt the same way up in heaven. She would be looking down on me somehow knowing that would help me go on. Now I realize that a real friend walks in when the rest of the world walks out.

科目:高中英語 來源:2012-2013學年河南省安陽一中分校高二第二次階段考試英語試卷(帶解析) 題型:閱讀理解

Here are six steps to better studying.
Pay attention in class
Do you have trouble paying attention in class? Are you sitting next to a loud person? Tell your teacher or parents about any problem that is preventing you from paying attention.
Take good notes
Write down facts that your teacher mentions or writes on the board. Try to use good handwriting so you can read your notes later. It’s a good idea to keep your notes organized by subject.
Plan ahead for tests and projects
Waiting until Thursday night to study for Friday’s test will make it hard to do your best. One of the best ways to make sure that doesn’t happen is to plan ahead. Write down your test dates. You can then plan how much to do after school each day, and how much time to spend on each topic.
Break it up
When there’s a lot to study, it can help to break things into several parts. Let’s say you have a spelling test on 20 words. Instead of thinking about all of the words at once, try breaking them down into five-word groups and work on one or two different groups each night.
Ask for help
You can’t study effectively if you don’t understand the material. Be sure to ask your teacher for help. If you’re at home when the confusion occurs, your morn or dad might be able to help.
Sleep tight
So the test is tomorrow and you’ve followed your study plan—but suddenly you can’t remember anything! Don’t panic. Your brain needs time to digest all the information you’ve given it. Try to get a good night’s sleep and you’ll be surprised by what comes back to you in the morning.
【小題1】We know from the passage that a loud person is       .

A.a student who always answers questions loudly in class
B.someone who likes to talk with others in a loud voice
C.a student who likes speaking with others in class
D.a person who makes a lot of noise in public places
【小題2】According to the author, which of the following is an effective studying method?
A.Don’t try to review everything you have learned in one go.
B.Try to review what you’ve learned in one go.
C.To read all your notes the night before the test.
D.Try to remember everything on the first try.
【小題3】If you don’t understand what you have learnt, you can       .
A.read your notes over and over again
B.turn to people around you for help
C.put aside the material for later review
D.ask your teacher to explain it the next day
【小題4】By saying “Sleep tight”, what does the author mean?
A.Sleep again after waking up.
B.Sleep holding your breath deep.
C.Get a good night’s sleep.
D.Go to sleep early every night.
