  (對待) the Indians fairly. Gandhi wanted to change the society. In 1920, he came up with his famous idea
  of non-violent protest (非暴力抗議). He asked people not to buy British goods (貨物). In 1947, he
 helped India win its independence (獨(dú)立).
     Today, people in India have a better life. But they don't forget what Gandhi did for them. They teach
 their children to be thankful to this great leader.
